JOSEPH A. KAMINKSI

Born in Chicago, Joseph received a BFA in Painting from the University of Illinois in 1980 and moved to New York City that same year. From 1988 - 1997, Joseph split his time between New York City and Provincetown. Today, he continues to reside in NYC on the Upper West Side.

Joseph has always been interested in botanical imagery, occasional abstract work, photography, and the human figure.

As a gay man and artist, he celebrates the male body with an unapologetic and clear queer sensibility.
